Starting With A Website

The most important part of creating your own website is the platform that you choose to build it on. What's a platform? A platform is simply what you choose to build your site off of. This is the base of your website, and it matters more than you would think.

You may have heard of a few others out there like Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Weebly, and WordPress. There are definitely others out there, but these platforms are generally what you would hear about as a beginner. So which platform is right for you?

Personally, I would recommend using WordPress for almost any website site that you would want to build. Almost any developer you ask these days would agree, assuming they are not looking to steal your money for something of lesser value.

Not convinced yet? Here’s the facts!

WordPress is the most popular online publishing platform, currently powering more than 28% of the web” including CNN, TIME, Forbes, and even some of NASA’s websites!

It may sound intimidating, but WordPress is actually surprisingly easy to learn and simple to use. Not sure where to get started?
